Salt Volcano!

This month we thought we'd put a fun twist on a classic at-home science experiment!

For this experiment you will need:
- A medium-sized glass jar (a Mason jar or similar)
- Water
- Vegetable oil
- Food colouring
- Salt

Step 1: Pour a few inches of water into the jar
Step 2: Add the vegetable oil on top, approximately 1/3 cup
Step 3 : Add a few drops of food colouring
Step 4: Sprinkle salt on top, in small increments at first. You can add more to your hearts desire, just note that the more you add the messier it will get!
