You will need:
- A variety of different leaves. We recommend collecting these with your child in a fun and educational way, like by going for a walk through a park or forest, and trying to identify which kind of tree each leaf comes from! - Wax crayon shavings of different colours - Wax paper - Iron Step 1: Fold the wax paper in half, then open it back up so you have two clearly divided halves Step 2: Arrange a few of your collected leaves on one half of the paper Step 3: Place some of the wax crayon shavings around the leaves Step 4: Fold the paper back over Step 5: Carefully iron the folded paper on a medium setting, until the leaves and crayon shavings are sealed in the paper (Note: it is best to put an old towel down on the surface you are doing the ironing on to protect it from heat damage) Step 6: Let sit to cool. The end result should be a beautiful, colourful leaf print! For more information, see: http://www.dltk-holidays.com/fall/leaf_prints.htm Comments are closed.
