Bubble Painting

Do you have a child who loves to paint? Try this fun new way to make art projects!

You will need:

- Paint, in preferred colours (tempera paint is recommended)
- Small containers/glasses
- Straws
- Paper
- Dish soap
- Water

Note: To avoid a large clean-up, try doing this activity outside on a sunny day!

Step 1: Place approximately 1 teaspoon of paint in one of the containers.
Step 2: Add the same amount of dish soap to the paint.
Step 3: Add water, but make sure to leave an inch or two of room in the container.
Step 4: Repeat for all desired colours.
Step 5: Using the straw, blow bubbles in the paint mixture! Blow enough bubbles that they fill the remaining room in the containers.
Step 6: Press the paper to the top of the container in order to make your bubble print picture!
