About our Research with Children & Adolescents

We are interested in the social and cognitive development of children and adolescents

Our research examines how to talk to children to obtain the most honest and accurate reports about events they have experienced. Additionally, we are interested in how children's developing minds influence their social behaviours.
We are looking for families with 3- to 18-year-olds to participate in research!

About our Research with Older Adults

Older adults are the fastest growing age group!

In the social cognitive development lab we are examining the changes that occur during this stage of life.  Dr. Evans holds a SSHRC Insight Grant to study social and cognitive factors that influence older adults' behaviors. Working with Dr. Evans, PhD student Alison O’Connor is dedicating her doctoral research to better understand the social and cognitive changes that occur during older adulthood.
